Christopher R. Fertig
Chris Fertig
received his Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University's School of
Foreign Service before receiving his law degree from the University of
Miami in 1976. A former licensed captain and long-time member of the
Maritime Law Association with the designation Proctor in Admiralty, Mr.
Fertig is a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine
Engineers and the National Association of Marine Investigators. He is a
forensic litigator whose practice focuses on maritime law, professional
liability, general liability, insurance coverage and fraud Mr. Fertig
has authored insurance policies and endorsements currently in use in
the domestic and London market. He conducts seminars on various
insurance related topics. Mr. Fertig is currently an appointed
member to the Charter Revision Board for the City of Fort Lauderdale.

Frank R. Gramling (Of Counsel)
Frank R. Gramling
is a graduate of the University of Florida and received his law degree
from Cumberland Law School in 1975. He is a member of the Estate
Planning Council of Greater Miami, the Estate Planning Council of
Broward County and holds an active Real Estate Broker license. He is a
Lieutenant Commander in the United States Coast Guard (Ret.).

Darlene M. Lidondici
Darlene M. Lidondici
is a graduate of the John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a law
degree from Fordham University School of Law. She joined the firm in
1987 after having been in private practice in New York and having
worked for Home Insurance as claims counsel. She has a strong
background in insurance coverage interpretation, having been
responsible for supervision of liquor liability and product liability
claims and catastrophic injury claims and coverage disputes. Ms.
Lidondici defends professional malpractice, E & O and D & O
claims, general liability claims and handles various insurance
disputes, first and third party claims and declaratory judgment
actions. She has authored endorsements currently in use in the domestic
and London market and testified as an expert witness in coverage
disputes. She is admitted to the New York and Florida Bars
(Federal and State Courts).

Andrew Mescolotto

Andrew Mescolotto received his undergraduate degree from The
George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.
He is a 2006 graduate of Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad
Law Center. Mr. Mescolotto is admitted
to the Florida Bar and was recognized by the Fourth District Court of Appeals
for having the highest score in the District on the July 2006 bar examination. He is admitted to the Northern, Middle
and Southern Federal District Courts in Florida. Mr. Mescolotto focuses his practice on all
aspects of maritime law including Jones Act litigation, Limitation of Liability
Actions, cases arising out of collisions and allisons, salvage litigation,
maritime lien litigation, vessel arrests, recreational boating accidents,
marine product liability claims and marine insurance coverage disputes. One of Mr. Mescolotto’s work related
passions is conducting forensic investigations of marine fire and accident
scenes and then seeing those investigations through to a favorable resolution
for his clients. Mr. Mescolotto is
originally from Philadelphia where he attended St. Joseph’s
Preparatory School. He was an Ocean Rescue
Lifeguard in Barnegat Light, New Jersey for eight summers and is an
accomplished ocean rower. In his
personal time, Mr. Mescolotto enjoys boating with his family aboard their 25
foot Intrepid Center Console, where he delights in fishing, diving and just
being out on the water. His other
hobbies include cooking, travel and living in Fort Lauderdale.

Alexander Koffler
Alexander Koffler
graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida, where he received a
Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from the Warrington
College of Business Administration and minored in Criminology. Mr.
Koffler earned his law degree and graduated cum laude from Nova
Southeastern University, where he was a member of the Association of
Trial Lawyers of America and served as Chairman of the Association of
Business Law Students. He is admitted to the Florida Bar and is a
member of the American Bar Association and the Broward County Bar
Association. Mr. Koffler is originally from Baltimore, Maryland, has a
boating license and is an avid SCUBA diver.

Seth E. Harris
Seth Harris
received his B.A. degree in Film Production from American University in
Washington, D.C., with a minor in International Relations. Prior
to receiving his J.D. degree from the University of Miami School of
Law, Seth spent several years working in the fields of political media
and corporate events. Seth joined Fertig & Gramling in
January 2010. Prior to joining the firm, Seth worked for a
small litigation firm on cases involving professional disciplinary
matters, automobile insurance defense, intellectual property,
bankruptcy proceedings, and foreclosures. Seth is originally from
Louisville, KY, and is an aficionado of independent films as well as a
devoted sports fan.
